Chris has been training dogs professionally for the past 17 years. His current pack is 6 dogs, 2 malinois, 3 pitbulls, and 1 lab for detection. He is a certified K9SL & PSA decoy. More than testing dogs at trials, Chris most enjoys building them to feel confident, capable, and connected with their handlers. He has been mentored by Yasin Ali, Oscar Mora, and Christian Gomez. Chris takes a careful, fun, and individualized approach to each dog in front of him.
Chris Sykes is dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build strong, reliable partnerships. His expertise spans from resolving severe aggression and reactivity to fine-tuning advanced obedience and puppy development to building strong sports competitors.
Join us for an all day seminar with Chris Sykes focused on sport protection work and obedience. Private Lessons will be available on Sunday all day as well.
