Dear NACSWTM Trial Participant
We are looking forward to seeing you and your dog at the NACSW sanctioned NW1 & NW2 trials hosted by Beyond Elevation K9 in Greeley on June 20-21, 2025. Following are details regarding location, check in times, etc. Please email info@beyondelevationk9.com with any additional questions. If you are volunteering for trials you are not competing in, information will be emailed soon.

Please Sign the waiver before you arrive.
WALK THROUGH & DEBRIEF INFORMATION
There will not be any in person walk throughs at any trials. For NW1/2/3, Elite & Summit trials the Certifying Official will post brief videos of the search areas prior to the start of the trial and end of day debrief to the NACSW Virtual Walk Through site walkthrough.nacsw.net
Element Specialty and Elite Select trials may have brief virtual walk through videos for some searches if the Certifying Official determines that it will help clarify the search area and/or improve the flow of the trial day. The Certifying Official will post end of day debrief videos to the NACSW Virtual Walk Through site walkthrough.nacsw.net
In the event that there is no cell service or technical issues, the CO will describe the search areas at the morning briefing.
SCHEDULE
Do not arrive before the times listed below. We will not have volunteers available to direct you. Bathrooms will not be open for you or your dog’s use. The CO will be setting hides and running dog in white and early competitors may interfere with this process.
Please leave your dog in your car and check in at the registration desk when you arrive. You will receive your running order and bathroom information for dogs and humans.
We recommend that you bring a pencil and notepad with you for the briefing to note info given by CO. Questions will be answered during the briefing.

NW1 & NW2
Competitor Check in: 8:00 AM
Competitor Briefing: 8:30 AM
1st dog on the line: 9:00 AM
Please do not arrive prior to 8:00 AM – we will not have anyone available to direct you to parking or check you in until the listed time.
It is not appropriate to visit the trial location prior to the trial date, nor should training take place on trial grounds once an event is approved/announced. Our locations are real life search environments where people work, go to school, etc. Pre-trial visits risk the host losing the opportunity to use the location again in the future.

PLEASE NOTE:
Dogs must be kept on a 6’ or shorter leash while in the general area of the trial grounds including the potty areas and while walking to and from search areas (Flexi leashes are not permitted except during searches). To ensure the safety of all dogs, please keep a minimum of 8 feet between dogs unless expressed consent is given. If your dog is dog-reactive and you wish to use a red bandana to let others know your dog needs extra space from other dogs, please plan to bring one for your dog.
Competitors should expect to keep their dogs confined when not competing. NACSWTM trials typically do not allow for dogs to hang out on leash in between searches. Competitors should plan to provide their own shade using canopies or shade cloths. In the event of extreme weather conditions, participants should be prepared to keep their dog adequately warm or cool in their vehicles or in crates adjacent to their vehicles. In the case of high air temperatures, dogs must be crated with adequate shade, ventilation and access to water. Dogs may not be loose in vehicles with open windows or tied to a vehicle or other stationary object.

Reactive Dogs:
As part of our commitment to making NACSW events fun, fair and safe for all competitors, we are working to better educate the entire K9 Nose Work community on the intended use of red bandanas at NACSW ORTs and trials, as well as making our rules regarding reactivity at official events as clear as possible. The red bandanas at NACSW events were always - and still are - meant for dogs who need a bit more space from other dogs. As always, NACSW events are not a time for doggie meet and greets. Please respect each other’s space and allow a minimum of 10 feet between your dog and all others at all times. We want everyone to have a good experience. No flexi leashes allowed except in test area. Please tell parking attendant that you would like reactive dog parking and you will be directed to that area.

Please see the NACSWTM Rule Book, section NACSWTM ORT & TRIAL REGULATIONS, Safety & Location Regulations for further explanation.

Please call or text us on trial day if you will not be able to attend or are delayed.

Have fun everyone and happy hunting.

Annoucement!
We are going to have some indoor crating, this wont be supportive of reactive or sensitive dogs but we will try our best to get everyone inside if needed.
